Provided you had no error messages, yes it is.
However, your own computer will have a cache and it is showing you what it knows your page looks like, rather than what the page really looks like.
If you refresh the page several times rather quickly, this is the F5 key in Internet Explorer, it will force your browser to reload the page.
Alternately hold down the Ctrl key and then press the F5 key, to force your computer to show you the most up to date copy of your page.
And your new or replaced image will appear like magic.
