This depends on what image editing software you have available.
In Photoshop
1. Open up your image
2. Image > Image Size > Change "Pixel Dimensions: width" to 140, and make sure that resolution is 72 pixels/inch.
3. Save yor image, indeed "save for web" may be preferable.
4. You can then select this image to be uploaded.
Photoshop Elements
Should be very similar to the above.
Adobe Fireworks
1. Open up your image
2. Depending slightly on the version; Modify > Canvas > Image size > Change "Pixel Dimensions: width" to 140, and make sure that resolution is 72 pixels/inch.
3. Use the File > Export Wizard to save your image as a jpg file
4. You can then select this image to be uploaded.
Other programs
In google, enter the name of your image editing software and "resize image", you should be able to find a step by step guide in the first few results. |
