How early should I book a B&B?

It has be considered that a lot of Bed & Breakfast accommodation can already be booked well in advance, particularly in popular locations or at traditionally busy times of the year. Particularly through the holiday seasons.

Whilst it is possible to find late vacancies, quite often this involves a lot of footwork or phoning around.

It can be adviseable to at least enquire as you are planning or considering your trip. Then the manager of the Bed and Breakfast accommodation can advise on whether early booking would be required.
