How do I get to the Hostel if I arrive in Florianopolis by bus?
Take the city bus at the city bus terminal, which is right next to inter-city bus Terminal in the direction to Lagoa da Conceicao/Joaquina Beach. Get off the bus at the bus stop right by the Praia Mole turn off. This bus trip should last about 50 minutes.
How do I get to the Hostel from the airport?
The fastest way is to take a taxi cab, it will cost about R$70.00 (about U$35.00). If a more economical way is preferred, take a taxi to the city bus terminal and take the bus to Lagoa da Conceicao/Joaquina Beach. By taxi takes about 20 to 30 minutes and by bus will take about an hour.
Are there stores, markets, pharmacies, ATM machines, money exchange, etc… near by the Hostel?
Yes, there are pharmacies, markets, bars and restaurant of a distance of 2 blocks away from the Hostel. But money exchange and ATM machines are located in Lagoa center area (Centrinho), which is about a 20 minutes walk from the Hostel or 5 minutes by bus.
What about transportation around the island?
Transportation system (city buses) around the island is good. There are bus routes all over the island. Or there are taxi cabs all over the island as well.
What’s there to do for fun at night?
Between the Centrinhho da Lagoa and Rendeiras Avenue (Road that runs along side of the lagoon) the Guests will have many choices of things to do, like many bars, restaurants and dance clubs. But if the interest is for something even bigger and more fun. If what the Guest wants is go big for the night they can take a 30 minutes taxi cab to Downtown Florianopolis or to the North Side of the Island. The most famous night clubs are Pacha, Taiko, Café de la Music, El Divino, Club 12 Jurere international, etc.
