Pousada Sagepoint is found resting on a beautiful sandy white beach named Tirirca beach in the small town of Itacare, Bahia, Brazil. Artfully built of noble wood. Conduru, purple heart, pao d'arco and other exotic woods (all too hard for termites to eat!!)

Pousada Sage Point looks and feels like one would be in Bali, Indonesia. Built in an Indonesian style and decorated with art pieces of Indonesia Pousada (B&B) Sagepoint coexists harmoniously in a luxurious tropical garden setting and is surrounded by the Atlantic tropical jungle, with clean fresh rivers and waterfalls on and around this beach.

Pousada sage point has 17 unique suites, each room is built and decorated different from the other, we are a boutique B&B! All the suites offer frigobar, telephone, ceiling fans, air-condition, safeboxes, some are equipped with Jacuzzi, and all have veranda or porches with hammocks or living room style living areas with ocean and beach views.

A delicious tropical breakfast is served in our beachfront restaurant or in the privacy of your room. We do not offer television as we honour the peace and tranquility and the opportunity to loose yourself (or rather find yourself!!)

With the sound of the ocean, the wind blowing through the coconut trees, and the song of the exotic birds. Even have opportunity of frequent visits from the native spider monkeys!! We do offer free wireless internet and we help with day tours and tourist information and always our vip service from our friendly staff.

There is an ocean front restaurant, a private parking area and a 2 bedroom house with a large oceanfront veranda for the owner or manager to live in. There is plenty of room on the land for expansion. The land measures around 20,000 square meters with the beach as the front yard and the jungle as the backyard. There are less than 1o properties on Tirirca beach. Itacare' is a beautiful 65 kilometres drive from the nearest airport in the town of Ilheus. And around 300 kilometres from an international airport in Salvador.

Today Itacare' is famous for its eco-tourism and known for the great surfing beaches, with Tiririca being considered the best for surfing of all the beautiful beaches that Itacare' has to offer

Peak seasons for tourism is from December to March, July and Brazil has about 14 national holidays and another 50 state and local holidays offering a year round occupancy. There is a slow season as usual, and as a business that has been running very well since 1994, sage point is very well visited year round!! Everyone wants to stay in paradise!
