Crown Lodge

The bedrooms in Crown Lodge are all en-suite and individually styled with matching soft furnishings, cushions & throws, giving that comfy home from home feeling.

The facilities in the bedrooms comprise T.V. with freeview, an alarm clock radio, tea making facilities, a mini fridge/cooler, a hairdryer, iron & ironing board, and a fan for those hot summer nights. Facilities for the disabled are now available, as the entrance steps have been replaced with a ramp.

There are two ground floor rooms, one of which has been especially designed with wheelchair users in mind. The ground floor double room has a large en suite wet room, completed to N.A.S. standard M3i and therefore suitable for people who need to enter the en suite in their wheelchair, and require side transfer space.

It is fitted with grab rails and a shower seat. The ground floor twin room is suitable for people who are able to stand/walk a few paces, but who may have difficulty with stairs. The en suite is a wet room, and this also has grab rails and a shower seat, but it is NOT wheelchair accessible. Some specialist equipment is also available (please phone for details)

The breakfast menu has been designed to suit all appetites, offering wide choices from juices, fruits, yoghurts, cereals, and cooked breakfasts ranging from eggs on toast to a generous farmhouse breakfast for those who really do like a full breakfast! Evening meals are available by arrangement.

Situated on the main approach road into Torquay, Crown Lodge is easy to find, and is just a short distance from the Riviera Centre, seafront, theatre, and busy harbour area. It's also an ideal base from which to explore the many attractions and places to visit, in and around Torbay, Dartmoor, and the Devon countryside.

A wide choice of information brochures is available in our foyer, and John & Lynda are always happy to give any advice they can.

Both the coach and the railway stations are nearby, and John is usually able to collect you ( free of charge - please enquire when booking)For those of you arriving by car, Crown Lodge has ample car parking on site.
