Cherry Tree Hotel
Lovely family run licensed hotel on Paignton sea front, with private parking in our own car park. The Cherry Tree bed and breakfast Hotel is on level ground, opposite the main beach, harbour and mini-golf and minutes from the town, pier, bars and restaurants.
Many of our bedrooms have glorious views over the bay and ground floor rooms are available. All rooms are en suite with TV/DVD player, beverage making facilities, mini fridge, hair dryer, clock radio, Wifi, towels and toiletries.
Irons are available on request.
We have a romantic 4-poster room with sea view and for that special occasion we can provide flowers, chocolates, balloons and champagne.
Children are very welcome; we have many family rooms, cots and high chairs provided.
Our hotel has a well stocked bar and a comfortable lounge stocked with games and books, plus DVD hire.
Packed lunches can be provided.
We serve a hearty full English breakfast with cereal, fruit, yoghurt, toast, juice, tea and coffee. We can also cater for vegetarians if requested.
The Cherry Tree do a complimentary collection from local bus & train stations with prior arrangement.

The hotel is in an ideal position for exploring all that Paignton and the surrounding areas have to offer.
We are a short drive to the famous Paignton Zoo and you can easily walk to Quay West Water Park at Goodrington, which children love. Paignton Steam Railway, where you can enjoy a steam train ride to Dartmouth is just a short walk away. You can drive or walk to beautiful Oldway Mansion, the former home of the Singer sewing machine family.
Of course you can always relax on Paignton, Preston or Goodrington beach, have fun on Paignton Pier or try your hand at the newly refurbished mini golf opposite the hotel. You may also like to stroll around the quaint harbour, see a film at the Apollo Multiplex Cinema or visit the many attractions that are held on Paignton green during the summer.
Don't forget there is a carnival in July plus regatta and children's week in August.
A little further away is Torquay where you can visit Living Coast, where the penguins are a popular attraction. Children will enjoy the miniature world of Babbacombe Model Village and the spooky and interesting Kents Cavern. Parents and grand parents will enjoy re-living their past at Bygones. Torquay also has the Princess Theatre, which stages many well-known shows, or you might like to go bowling at the AMF Bowling.
Cockington Village is beautiful with its picturesque thatched cottages, tearooms, gift shops and arts and crafts at Cockington Court manor house.
The nearby fishing port of Brixham is worth a visit with its quaint harbour, marina and gift shops.
A little further away is Dartmoor National Park, which is ideal for walkers, plus scenic Dartmouth and Totnes.
The nearest large towns are Plymouth, which has the Barbican, Aquarium and famous Plymouth Hoe, or Exeter with a beautiful cathedral and lovely quay.
There are of course many other wonderful attractions to visit in the surrounding area.
