Occupying a level position with an easy flat walk to the town centre and seafront, Lynstead is a warm comfortable guest house offering family, double and twin-bedded en-suite rooms, together with a single-bedded room which has its own dedicated bathroom.
All rooms are non-smoking and include a colour TV, Radio/alarm clock, tea/coffee making facilities, thermostatically-controlled radiators, hairdryers, toiletries and shaver points.
A spacious lounge is also available to guests and an excellent Full English, or Continental breakfast is served in our bright and cheerful dining room.
There is an ample private car park at the rear and guests have 24-hour access to their rooms.
Sidmouth
The beautiful Regency town of Sidmouth, famous for its floral displays and gardens, gains regular success in the Britain in Bloom competitions and offers a wide variety of small individual shops, restaurants and bars, and fine examples of Georgian and Regency architecture.
In addition, peaceful walks may be taken through 'The Byes' park , where duck-feeding is an optional extra.
For the more adventurous, the town is an ideal base for walking the spectacular Coastal Path towards Lyme Regis, or Exmouth, or for exploring the numerous delights of Devon.
Alternatively, sportier guests can take advantage of the concessionary green fees at Sidmouth's 18-hole Golf Course, or swim in the town's excellent indoor heated swimming pool.
Travel
By Car: Sidmouth is 10 miles from Junction 30 on the M5 and 9 miles from Honiton and the A30/A303
By Train: From the North, the Midlands and London Paddington to Exeter St. David's Station.
From London Waterloo to Honiton.
Regular bus services to Sidmouth operate from both stations.
By Air: Exeter Airport is approximately 8 miles away.
By Coach: National Express buses are available from all parts of the country to Exeter.
