At Townstal Farmhouse Hotel We have a tastefully decorated oak beamed lounge with warming log fire where guests can unwind and enjoy, after dinner drinks and coffee or somewhere simply to relax with a book. The nearby bar and dining room with traditional Inglenook fireplace and oak furniture all combines to create a relaxing atmosphere.

We pride ourselves on our reputation for good home cooking and friendly service with a smile. Our menu is varied and includes locally caught produce of the highest quality. Our resident's bar is stocked with draught and bottled beers and a wide range of quality wines, spirits and liqueurs. A full a la carte English breakfast is served with a wide choice of menus including vegetarian options.

Rooms Description
Our 16 en suite bedrooms are all furnished to a high standard. All have colour TV, clock radio alarm, Hairdryer, beverage tray and direct dial telephone.

In addition we are able to offer four-poster bedrooms, which add that special touch to any stay whether it be for an anniversary or just a quiet night away from home. For the disabled guest our ground floor access is ideal complete with ramp, specially equipped shower room with grab rails and reserved parking bay to make your stay as convenient as possible.

This year why not put your feet up and enjoy a relaxing yuletide break in front of a real log fire surrounded by the charms of our beautiful 16th century farmhouse. Christmas fayre will consist of three nights Dinner-Bed & Breakfast with a full traditional Christmas lunch on Christmas day and Christmas night-buffet.

On the M5 south at Exeter take the A38 signposted for Plymouth. After approximately 10/15 miles take the Totnes/Dartmouth exit. Keep following signs for Totnes and on the outskirts of the town turn right at the traffic lights to Kingsbridge/Dartmouth A3122. At Halwell village turn left A3122 to Dartmouth. At the outskirts of the town descend downhill for about half a mile. Shortly after the A379 turning to Blackpool Sands turn right into Townstal Road and turn right again in to our car park.
