Higher Coxes Farm
Higher Coxes Farm is a family-run bed and breakfast on a working arable and outdoor pig farm. The farm is surrounded in open countryside and is just a 10 minute walk from coastal footpaths on the Jurassic coastline, it is an excellent base for exploring the coast, rural towns, villages and countryside.
We have three comfortable bedrooms:
- An ensuite room with a king-size bed.
- A spacious room with a king-size bed and private bathroom.
- A double room.
The bedrooms are fully equipped with towels, coloured TV and hot drink making facilities.
Our full English breakfast is always popular, using fresh and homemade produce whenever possible, and is served on separate guest tables. Guests are welcome to relax in the large lounge, which has a traditional log burner, TV and a variety of local tourist information. There is also a large garden and ample off-road parking.
Higher Coxes Farm is just 1 mile from the A3052 coast road, and the neighbouring seaside town of Sidmouth is only a short drive. This beautiful regency town is set against stunning scenery, with red sandstone cliffs and 2 lovely beaches.
Within the town there are many interesting shops, wonderful regency architecture and numerous cafes, pubs, restaurants and wine bars. The town comes alive with music, dance and entertainment annually at the International Folk Festival, and is home to the famous Donkey Sanctuary. Also nearby is the The Norman Lockyer Observatory, a working observatory and planetarium.
