Channel Vista is a family run licenced guesthouse, where your friendly hosts, Clive and Linda Leyland will do their best to make your stay as comfortable and stress free as possible.

Combe Martin is centrally placed right on the edge of the Exmoor National Park to enable you to visit many of the attractions here in North Devon, whether you want peace and quiet or something a bit more lively.

The area has been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The rock pools here can keep young and old amused for hours.

Walking, golf, surfing, horse riding and fishing are just a few of the many activities you can enjoy in this area.

There are sea fishing trips and coastal cruises, also, not to be missed (weather permitting) a day trip to Lundy Island.

There are numerous gardens to visit in the area, included the famous RHS Rosemoor Gardens at Great Torrington.

Step back in time and see the Dinosaurs at the Wildlife Park. Also see The Wolf Man.

Evening meals can be arranged by pre-booking only. All food is freshly cooked and prepared by Clive. Meals are 2 courses and are substantial but simple.

We have a family room to accommodate 2 adults and one child. We also now have a family suite with 2 rooms to accommodate 2 adults and up to 3 children.

Bring your dog, he deserves a holiday just like you. By prior arrangement only.

We have private on site parking for up to 6 vehicles and a garage where you can store your cycle, fishing gear or surfboard.

Relax in the conservatory lounge/bar where we have a selection of games, puzzles and books. Enjoy some local beers or just a nice cup of tea!

All rooms are centrally heated, have been newly decorated and are en-suite. They have freeview TV, hairdryers and tea/coffee hospitality trays. Rooms at the front have sea and countryside views. Rooms at the rear are quiet and peaceful.

A stair lift has been fitted to enable easier access for our less mobile customers. The car park gives access to the first floor.

Our breakfast will set you up for the day.

Start with fresh fruit, yoghurt, fruit juice and cereals. Then have a full English breakfast consisting of locally made West Country sausage, bacon, egg, beans, hash brown, grilled tomato and mushrooms, and some toast (if you have room). Try our home made jam and marmalade.
