Our Plymouth B&B Victorian guest house, is situated in a pretty terrace on Plymouth Hoe. We are very well situated close to the City Centre and the historic Barbican. It is within easy walking distance of the continental ferry port, University, National Marine Aquarium, bus and train stations.
We are of 4 stars quality and when you come to our attractive four storey B&B you will see this for yourself. From the front of the house we have views over Hoe Park to the Royal Citadel on the hill and from the rear of the property we have splendid views over the City Centre.
Although right in the city our cul-de-sac terrace is very quiet with lovely frontages with seating and flowers. Plymouth in Bloom street gold award winners in 2009, 2010 and 2011 also best guest house gold award in 2010 and bronze award in 2011.
Our guest bedrooms are all nicely decorated in neutral shades of creams and beige, with good quality beds and bed linen. All bedrooms are well equipped with flat screen TV's with freeview, CD & DVD players. They have beverage trays with teas, fruit teas, coffee, hot chocolate & biscuits. Hairdryers, alarm clocks and toiletries are also provided.
We have seven bedrooms, five of which are en-suite. Our two single rooms have a washbasin, but share a shower room that has two toilets. We have a double room on the ground floor that has a kingsize bed. A further double room on the first floor that has a bay window with a good view and two leather armchairs. Our other three rooms all have a double and a single bed.
For breakfast there is a choice of full English, vegetarian or lighter options, yoghurts, fruit, fruit juices, hot beverages and brown or white toast. Special diets & early breakfasts may be catered for by prior arrangement.
Plymouth is a gem of a city with plenty to see and do. Plymouth Hoe is a lovely area with spectacular view over the wide sweeping bay of Plymouth sound. The Barbican is a cosmopolitan harbour area with pavement cafes, bars, restaurants, cobbled streets and quaint shops and markets. Plymouth is also in a good position for travelling around Devon and Cornwall, with Dartmoor, Torbay and The Eden Project just a short drive away.
We do our best to make your stay enjoyable as we would like our guests to return again, or tell their family and friends that the Seymour was a great place to stay.
