Galmpton Farmhouse The Stables
From the old farmyard you enter the stables & walk into a small lounge with a two seater settee, freeview TV, DVD along with tea & coffee making facilities. Off to the right is the bedroom which includes a double bed with kingsize duvet, small wardrobe, bedside table, hair dryer and freeview TV.
To the left of the lounge is a modern shower room with shower, hand basin & WC.
Both bedroom & lounge have individual thermostatically controlled heaters. The accommodation is not suitable for children.
Because the stables is in a converted farmyard it has private access so very quiet yet the village shops are only a couple of minutes walk away. We are lucky to have a very vibrant village with superb butcher, post office, village shop & hairdresser.
Ideal for walkers with the Dart Valley & John Musgrove trails right on the doorstep with breathtaking scenery of cost & river. For those who love nostalgia, Agatha Christie's house Greenway, is just down the road whilst Coleton Fishacre former home of the Doyle Carte family is another world famous National Trust property just 10 minutes away. The Dart Valley steam railway also runs through the village and makes a great day out.
There are two of the many beaches within 5 minutes drive from the village and in only 5 minutes you can walk to the banks of the Dart. Churston Golf course is an excellent golf club, situated just on the edge of the village. A short drive away are also Dartmouth Golf course, Shaldon and many others.
