The Roslyn

The Roslyn is a family run B&B within 100yds of Paignton seafront. The pier, multiplex cinema, many restaurants, cafes and bars are all less than 2 minutes walk. We have the convenience of railway and bus stations which will take you to Plymouth town centre, the hoe and barbican, Exeter town centre, Dawlish, Newton Abbot, Dartmouth and many more places.

Paignton town centre is a few minutes walk from the guesthouse. The surrounding countryside also has some of the finest walking trails both coastal and inland, maps can be supplied on request.

We can with notice arrange boat fishing trips on local charter boats for single or parties of anglers. The fishing in this area is excellent and varied from deep sea wrecking for conger to estuary fishing for rays eg: British record shore caught thornback of over 21lbs landed summer 2008. We can also give you up to date news on recent local boat and shore catches. Paignton harbour is just a few minutes walk away.

Nearby attractions include Paignton zoo, Paignton steam railway, princess theatre, Torbay leisure centre, Quaywest Water Park, Babbacombe model village, Kents cavern and Living coast.

The guesthouse has 3 double en-suite rooms, 1 single en-suite room, 1 family en-suite room, 1 single room with private facilities and 1 double room with private facilities, all the rooms have TV with freeview, complimentary tea & coffee making facilities, free wifi internet connection, hairdryer and ironing equipment available.

A full English breakfast with fried, poached, scrambled or boiled farm eggs, back bacon, butchers pork sausage, fresh tomato or baked beans and mushrooms, choice of cereals, toast, jams, marmalades, fruit juices, tea, fruit teas, filter coffee are served every day in the dining room for breakfast, all diets are catered for.

Packed lunches can be arranged at an extra cost.
