We are situated in the heart of the village of Stoke Fleming, only a short walk to all the local amenities including the beach, cafe and shop at Blackpool Sands, the Green Dragon Village Inn, The Brill Plaice Restaurant and the Stoke Fleming Village Shop and Post Office.

Channel View is a fully refurbished B&B & it is our obligation to maintain the high standards that we believe we have achieved. All of our spacious bedrooms have en-suite facilities and are tastefully decorated & furnished with a high standard in mind. The en-suites all have modern appliances & pressurised, thermostatic showers.

We have double rooms and twin bedded rooms (sleeping a maximum of two people per room - single occupancy extremely welcome - please see tariff for rates). Some rooms with superking beds and/or sea view.

Our Family Suite is ideal for families with children and sleeps a maximum of four people. (A 2 bedroom suite with master bedroom with superking bed, plus twin bedded room; private balcony with tables & chairs (access available from both bedrooms); large bathroom with bath and shower (en-suite from master bedroom with separate access from twin room). Sea views from all rooms & balcony. Fridge & CD player provided.

All rooms are centrally heated with individually controlled thermostats. A fridge & microwave are provided for customers in the dining room. Iron & board are available on request.

At Channel View we recognise that leaving a valued family member with friends or in kennels when going on holiday isn’t always an option, particularly in areas such as the South Hams where there are so many beautiful walks to be enjoyed and so we welcome dogs (as opposed to accept) by prior arrangement at no additional charge. We are a true definition of a “dog-friendly” establishment (and the proud owners of two beautiful Labradors).

Some beaches do hold dog restrictions during the summer season, but there are still numerous wonderful beaches and coves within the area where dogs are welcome all year. (We do hope that owners exercise responsible dog ownership on these to ensure that they continue to offer this wonderful benefit to us dog lovers for years to come). Additionally, dogs and owners can enjoy “exploring” any of the many spectacular coastal walks in the area.

There are numerous “dog-friendly” pubs in Dartmouth and the surrounding area including both the village pubs in Stoke Fleming. The village also has a lovely large park where dogs are welcome.
