Higher Town Farm
You are sure of a warm welcome from Carol, Michael and working sheep dog Sam to their family home on this working farm.
We offer 2 double bedrooms with fantastic views, colour television, tea & coffee making facilities and a shared bath & shower room between the 2 rooms, both rooms are tastefully decorated in a simple country cottage theme and have plenty of storage space.
We offer a full English or light breakfast with eggs from our own hens and all items are from local farms. We will be happy to cater for special diets, please advise in advance. We offer packed lunches if required at an extra charge.
The local village is no more than a 5 minute walk away, where you can find a very good post office and Lottery. The local pub, Farmers Arms offer local ale and has a restaurant providing either bar snacks or full meals.
The famous fishing village of Clovelly with its steep cobbled streets overlooking the harbour is only 5 miles away. The Milky Way and the Big Sheep adventure parks are less than a 5 minute drive. The sandy beaches of Westward Ho! and the surfing town of Bude are only a 20 minute drive.
The local Farm Shop 'Barton Farm Shop' which sells local meats, pasties, pies and many other items to make up your picnic hamper.
Higher Town Farm is ideally located to explore both North and South Devon with Cornwall less than 30 minutes drive.
The shopping outlet Atlantic Village with a large number of famous store names is in the town of Bideford.
R.H.S. Rosemore with large gardens to walk around is in the local Town of Torrington.
