A late Georgian vicarage set in its own land with beautiful mature garden. Offering comfortable and welcoming Bed and Breakfast.
The house is comfortably furnished and Chuck and Emma enjoy welcoming guests to their home.
All the bedrooms are ensuite with Tvs and mini fridges hairdryers and there is a guest landing/ sitting room with lots of books to sit and enjoy the evening sun
Locally sourced and aga cooked breakfast with homemade marmalades and seasonal fruit compotes and fresh fruit salad is served in the conservatory under the 90 year old vine with views over the valley. Dinner can be by arrangement
There is an all weather tennis court and an outside heated pool and a lovely area to sit and enjoy the view before heading to the coast to explore the fishing village of Beer the old mill at Branscombe or the fossils of Lyme Regis. The regency town of Sidmouth is very close with its folk festival in August
The national Park of Dartmoor and Exmoor are within easy reach.
Axminster famous for its carpets and latterly Hugh Fearnly Whittingstal's River Cottage is close by.
Exeter and its famous cathedral and close is well worth a visit.
Apart from the coast for swimming and walking there are some lovely golf courses at Axmouth and Lyme Regis Riding just up the valley
Beer and Lyme Regis have some very interesting art galleries and often have' open studio' months.
The market town of Honiton and its antiques is well worth a visit as are the national trust gardens of Killerton and Knightshayes. As well as the privately owned Forde Abbey and Cothey Manor.
