Our home is situated just 5 minutes walk from Honiton Station (services to Exeter and London, Waterloo every hour, journey times 25 mins and 3 hours respectively) and 20 minutes from the university city of Exeter and Exeter Airport by car.

The beaches at Sidmouth, Seaton and Branscombe are within 20 - 30 mins drive. Historic Lyme Regis, famous for the Cobb, its quaint streets, quirky houses and fossil shops is about 30 mins drive away. Devon's beautiful countryside is on the doorstep, Honiton is known as 'The Town in the Country'.

There are several major tourist attractions nearby, including Crealy Adventure Park, Escot House and Gardens and the famous Jurassic Coast. Ferries and boat trips operate from nearby Topsham and Exmouth to the riverside Turf Locks Hotel, Sidmouth and Lyme Regis sailing off the Jurassic Coast and to Exmouth Estuary, migratory home of the avocet and many other wetland bird species.

Our comfortable home is a short walk from Honiton's town centre, well known for it's thriving antiques shops, art galleries and traditional Honiton Lace on display at Allhallows Museum.

Town centre restaurants include The Holt (owned by local real ale specialists Otter Brewery) and The Railway, soon to be joined by a newly refurbished Weatherspoons.

Our high quality breakfast includes sausages and bacon from award winning local producers, free range eggs, local mushrooms and tomatoes and freshly baked bread. Real coffee and a selection of teas accompany breakfast which is served in our comfortable conservatory dining room, with newspapers of your choice.

Dinner is also available, prepared by your hosts, ex professional chef Patti and willing partner Chris.

We always source the best quality ingredients
and are fortunate that Honiton retains a top quality fishmonger who has daily deliveries of fish and shellfish from Brixham and a local farm shop specialising in home produced beef, lamb and pork.

Patti's signature dishes include classics from France, Spain and Switzerland whilst our traditional Sunday roasts are legendary.
