If you are staying a few days we can help with laundry, make packed lunches, help with routes for cycling or walking. Jenny and Richard have surfed for many years and can advise on the best times and spots to catch waves. We can store surfboards and bicycles.. and provide washing and airing facilities for your wetsuits and towels.
As well as coastal walks and bike rides there are some great towns and rustic villages within easy reach. Ilfracombe and Barnstaple, Bideford and Lynmouth are all interesting and traditional towns with many independent retailers and restaurants to visit. For Devonshire charm at its best make a trip to sweet Clovelly or Appledore. The wilds of Exmoor are only an hour's drive away where you can roam on many miles of footpaths and enjoy the peace.
North Devon has so much to offer for families too such as outdoor adventure centres and indoor entertainment activities. The Big Sheep... North Devon theatres... Scott cinemas... museums... North Devon Leisure pool and sports centre... plus Barnstaple Pennies markets.
In Croyde village there are regular craft and farmers markets as well as a great film selection at the Croyde Deckchair cinema.
