Welcome to The Whitehouse, a luxurious boutique bed and breakfast hotel set in a grand Georgian house within walking distance of the south Devon coast. Enjoy a delicious breakfast overlooking the beautiful garden, relax in the guest lounges or take a drink at the elegant and well stocked bar. Situated between Salcombe and Dartmouth, the long stretches of stunning coastline, countryside, towns and villages are within striking distance.

The stylish interiors include a lounge featuring comfy sofas, chairs to sink into, a gorgeous open fire and two sets of French doors which open onto the garden. The family room is well stocked with games, more relaxing seating and another open fire.

This unique hotel is within easy reach of dozens of south Devon beaches. Sunbathe, surf, windsurf, paddleboard, swim, fish or simply walk the dog along this stretch of the coastal path.

There are the sailing meccas of Salcombe and Dartmouth, the bustling town of Kingsbridge or the many historic and quaint villages that dot the countryside.

The area is a haven for foodies and lovers of local produce, spirits and wines. From our garden you can explore the network of public bridleways or even walk to the coast.

Each room is slightly different and the feel is relaxed. All of the house rooms are spacious, individually designed, well equipped and include wall mounted smart TVs (netflix, amazon, BBC iPlayer etc), dvd player, good free wifi and a mini fridge with paid for alcoholic and soft drinks, complimentary coffee, teas, water and organic milk. The showers are like rainstorms and the baths are big enough for two.

Rooms 1 and 2 can interconnect, ideal for families. All rooms can comfortably accommodate a cot (provided for free). Rooms 3 and 5 will easily host one or two children in camp beds. Baby monitors work throughout the house.

We work on a bed and breakfast basis so breakfast is included. You can enjoy a selection of fruits, cereals, yoghurt, juice and a menu of cooked options. Choose from a full english, the whitehouse one pan, smashed avocado and poached eggs on toast, a bacon or sausage butty amongst other options.
