Casa Fajara Rustic Boutique House & Hotel

Expanded and renovated in 2010, Casa Fajara is a traditional house that has been sympathetically restored to maintain its charm whilst providing stylish accommodation with up-to-date facilities.

Our Bedrooms
12 spacious en-suite bedrooms, individually decorated, each with their own private terrace or balcony. Flat screen TVs with international channels, telephone and internet access. King & Super-king-size beds (twins are an option) made up with crisp white cotton sheets, a choice of pillows, and luxurious throws in rich and warm colours. All room rates include our delicious full buffet breakfast.

For larger groups we invite you to hire the entire house for your very own special occasion, family gathering, wedding, and anniversary or health retreat and enjoy exclusively the warm hospitality and idyllic surroundings.

The grounds
Casa Fajara is set in 12,000 square metres of gardens, including a large outdoor swimming pool. Enjoy a game of tennis or enjoy in a drink served by a member of our house-keeping team.

In the winter months, our bedrooms and bathrooms have cosy under-floor heating and you can curl up with a book in front of the large open fire or warm up with a game of tennis.

Sustainability
We provide recycling facilities for our guests and are also committed to supporting the local community, where possible, buying local produce.

Round & About
Casa Fajara is perfectly located to discover all that the Algarve has to offer. Carrapateira, with its narrow cobbled streets, small cafes serving delicious coffee and restaurants serving locally caught fish and seafood, is just 500m from the house. Whilst the stunning beaches of Praia do Bordeira and Praia do Amado are just a five minute drive.

For the more adventurous, the area is famous for its excellent surfing, and being within the Natural Parque, there are plenty of walks where you can appreciate the local flora and fauna. In addition there are a wide range of activities on offer in the area such as cycling, scuba diving, big game fishing, dolphin watching, horse-riding and hang-gliding.

Chamapionship golf course Parque da Floresta, is within a 20 minute drive, and has a gym and health spa. If you’d rather stay closer to home we can arrange for massages and spa treatments in the comfort of your own room.

Wherever you explore, take your own picnic hamper from Casa Fajara complete with wine to accompany you on your adventure.

Faro airport is 90 minute drive, and we strongly recommend car hire to best be able to explore the area. We can offer competitive car hire rates, airport pick-ups and/or local taxis.

Meals (If Available):
Full buffet breakfast provided daily and included in room rate. For those looking for a hot start to their day, indulge in our daily á la carte special for a small extra charge.

Light lunches provided poolside.

Picnic hampers, with wine, provided for day trips.
