Herdade dos Frades is there, located 80 meters above sea level. A one level floor, spacious luxury bed and breakfast containing 6 guest areas. In the rest of the Valley, but next to the sparkling village of Lagos, the beaches and the golf courses, do you enjoy the sea view and the hilly countryside.

The stylish residence is newly build, replacing the old farmhouse and the materials used are according to modern standards but giving the effect of the thick old walls which keeps the house fresh in the summer and warm in the winter.

The romantic wooden ceiling is like a big hat covering the house and a part of the surrounded terrace creating places around the house with lovely areas to be in the shade.
Completed with optimal thermal isolation and under floor heating it is a wonderful place to stay during the summer and winter season.
The spacious lounge is a comfortable area to sit, read, watching TV and having our famous fantastic breakfast which also can be served on the outside terrace.
The residence has a one level floor without any steps and with wide doors (80cm) and walk in showers what makes the house wheelchair friendly.

The guest areas are set up all very spacious.
With a minimum size of 25 m2 and very original appointed by the hand of the hostess is created a very cozy and personal setting.
The bathrooms are spacious and luxury with a walk-in rain- and hand shower, toilet, and washstand.
All rooms have a very comfortable double bed with body bearing mattress of only natural material.
The bed is simply to change in two single beds.

Lagos, an old historic town with the most sun hours of Europe offers an excess of original Portuguese tiny shops and restaurants. Surrounded by it's beautiful beaches, the yacht-harbor, golf courses and a unique Spa at some kilometers distance only, the ideal place for a holiday full activity with an oasis of peace back home.

The beaches in Lagos belong to the most beautiful ones in Europe.
It is the combination of white sand beaches and spectacular rock formations that you don't find elsewhere.
Rocks are red or yellow gold limestone.
