At night you can sample the local cuisine in one of the many fantastic restaurants in Byron or just stay at home and make use of the outdoor BBQ area.
PLANULA has five modern decorated bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms and offers queensize double, twin share and single accommodation. All rooms look out onto our beautiful gardens. Bicycles, bodyboards and surfboard are free of charge (subject to availability).

Throughout the house you will find paintings and photographs by local artists. Currently works are presented by Hele Ellis and the Waywood Gallery, one of Byron's well-known galleries.
Birds like the Eastern Rosella, different honey eaters, the scarlet flycatcher, fairywrens, king quails, currawongs, and cockatoos live in the lush tropical gardens. The adjacent wetlands house spoonbills, lapwings, herons, egrets and ibisses.
Many different frog species share their habitat around the ponds with numerous waterdragons. Other wildlife frequently seen around PLANULA include bandicoots, swamp wallabies, echidnas and possums.
