Springwaters Lodge

Friendly, modern and stylish bed and breakfast just across the road from Lake Rotorua. You can walk to Hamurana Springs and Stream and a short drive will take you to the other first class fly-fishing streams around Lake Rotorua. Dinner is available by arrangement.

You will enjoy the wonderful location, generous hospitality and a well-appointed large bedroom with ensuite bathroom and all the facilities you would expect for your travelling comfort. The delightful difference is your hosts - Steve is a great personality, Katherine a superb cook and they enjoy entertaining guests from around the world.

Quiet and peaceful, you can relax and unwind during your visit to Rotorua. Close to top fly fishing streams; there is ample off street parking, spa pool, big living room, lake and city views and a nice lakeside and forest walk to the springs. Dinner available by arrangement.

Facilities

Make yourself comfortable in the very spacious living rooms any time; chat to other guests, join Katherine with your needlework or write your postcards in a quiet corner. With a selection of DVDs, games, books and magazines you can find information and entertainment. The home is centrally heated, in the cooler months the wood fire creates a warm focus in the living room.

Opening off the living room is the dining room where breakfast is served each morning (and dinner by arrangement). With wide windows, both rooms have a great view of the lake and at night the lights of Rotorua shine across the water. The spa pool is in a sheltered courtyard with a view to Lake Rotorua. Always available, it is a great way to relax at the end of the day.

Rooms

The bedrooms have been thoughtfully furnished with everything to make your stay comfortable and the names have been selected by a local Maori for their traditional significance. Moana means lake or body of water, Awahou means new stream (and is the name of another nearby stream), Mokoia is the island in Lake Rotorua and Waimarino means calm water.

All the rooms are well lit and spacious, the access is wide and level and each bedroom has a well appointed bathroom opening off (en suite). In Moana and Awahou beds are super-king sized and can be split into large twin beds if requested. In Mokoia and Waimarino the beds are king sized doubles.
